| Fitness Room |
The MRC fitness/weight room is located at the far northeast end of the gym, on 2 levels. Most of the the cardio equipment is on the balcony. The recumbent cycle, free weights and weight machines are located on the main floor. The main floor has rubber weight room flooring and mirrors on 3 walls for checking form as you work out.
- Posted around the room are posters to assist you in your workouts.
- Sanitizer and paper towels are available for your use.
- Radios are allowed, however we ask that you be considerate of others when choosing stations or volume.
- Personal headphones are required to listen to the TVs on the treadmills and ellipticals. Please bring your own headphones.

Requirements for using the MRC Fitness/Weight Room:
Prior to use, all participants must be members of the MRC, and sign a health information questionnaire. Memberships are available at the front desk.
OR
Purchase a daily guest pass at the front desk for $3.00 per person ($2.00 for USD 263 student with ID) and fill out a day pass form, or have one on file.
Fitness Room Rules:
- No one under the age of 16 is allowed in the fitness room at any time.
- Wipe down the machines you use when finished with them.
- Spray bottles of sanitizer and paper towels are supplied by MRC and located on both levels of the fitness room for your use. Do not spray sanitizer directly on machines, spray the paper towel then wipe.
- Be courteous on machines; limit your time if people are waiting.
- Return weights and equipment to proper place after use.
- You must use the remotes to change channels on TVs. Using the keypad on the machines will disable the satellite connection.
- Bring your own headsets to listen to the TVs, MRC does not supply head sets.
- Do not drop weights.
- Maintain volume and station on radio to everyone's satisfaction.
- No swearing or loud, disruptive behavior.

| Gymnasium |
We have an open gym policy, with 2 exceptions: 1) reserved for walking, only, until 10:00 a.m. Monday thru Saturday and 2) if an MRC or school district event needs to use the gym.
Gymnasium Rules:
- The gym is dedicated to walking Monday-Saturday mornings until 10:00 a.m.
- No profanity or lewd behavior.
- Be courteous to other participants.
- The gym will be open for public use (membership or day pass required) unless MRC or USD 263 event is planned.
- Participants may be asked to leave the facility for inappropriate behavior.
- Ball Use:
No footballs allowed in the gym
No kicking volleyballs or basketballs

Open Gym Basketball Rules:
- There is a 2 game win limit. After winning 2 games, a team must allow another team to play.
- If there are enough players to form teams, the first 2 teams will play to 20 points by 1's; the winning team will play the next team. THis will continue until all teams have played.
- Teams will play half court if there are too many players or too much age difference.

We have a large program studio for fitness classes, equipped with one fully mirrored wall and ceiling fans for temperature control. MRC has Yoga blocks, bolsters and straps; hand weights, versa bars, medicine balls, jump ropes and stability balls; and Judo mats for use in our classes and for personal training or practice when classes are not in session.

The MRC has a Personal Trainer on Staff and does not allow members to bring in their own Personal Trainers from outside of the MRC.
Tyan Scott, Certified Personal Trainer, is now accepting new clients.
The personal fitness consultation gives the opportunity to have an instructor set a workout routine tailored to your fitness level and schedule. By appointment, only.
Requirements: MRC member in good standing and assessment that includes paper work, measurements, fitness tests, etc. Costs based on person(s) x sessions=price:
2 sessions = $60.00 4 sessions = $110.00 8 sessions = $200.00
- During your first Personal Training Session our Certified Personal Trainer will evaluate your Strength, Flexibility, Cardio strength, Body fat analysis, Measurements and Weight
- During the second session with our Personal Trainer, you will be given a work plan. The Personal Trainer will guide you through the workout and answer any questions you may have.
- Choosing additional sessions will allow the Personal Trainer to further customize your workout.
- Continue to train with a Personal Trainer for consistency in work out routines, motivation and safety while working out; and you will see steady growth in your strength and in your cardio performance.
- If you choose to work out with our Personal Trainer on a regular basis, you will meet your goals faster and safer. Our Personal Trainer will adapt your program as needed to optimize your work outs!
Call the MRC to leave your name and a phone number to reach you. Tyan will set the appointments with you personally. Payment at the MRC is required before your first session with the personal trainer.
Cancellation notice must be provided at least 2 hours in advance of your set appointment. Thank you.

Personal Training 4-week Small Group Workout Plan

| Amenities |
We have small lockers, cubby holes for shoes, and coat hooks available for your use just outside of the fitness room and program studio. There are larger lockers available in the west hallway near the restrooms. If you wish to lock your belongings up, you must bring your own lock.
We do not have showers or supply towels. Restrooms are in the hallway west of the lobby. Water fountains are located in the fitness room and in the west hallway near the restrooms.
