MRC Adventure Day: July 11, 2009

MRC Adventure Day 2009, an Outdoor Kansas for Kids (O.K. Kids) event, was held July 11, 2009 at the Mulvane Sports Complex from 9:00 a.m-12 noon. Admission was Free with activities for all ages. Kid's received a free MRC Adventure Day t-shirt at registration and a drawing ticket for free prizes, as well as additional free gifts or coupons for free stuff at most activity stations.

This was our second year for Adventure Day and we were very pleased that our participation from local families increased over last year. Our activities included the Optimist Club Bicycle Rodeo, a Moonwalk, Spray Fun by Mulvane Fire Department, Archery, Fishing Derby, and a Free BBQ by Mulvane Optimist Club, 11:00 a.m.-12:00 noon at Concession Stand. Additionally, we had "Tour a Police Car" along with Ident-a-kid, Batters Up in the ball field, Horse rides, and Big Daddy DJ doing the announcements.
