Mulvane Recreation Commission Inviting participation, building relationships, enhancing lives
Programs

The Mulvane Recreation Center schedules many activities, classes and sports leagues throughout the year. We offer fitness classes on different evenings and a few during the day. We organize sports leagues during specific seasons for both youth and adults. However, recreation is more than just fitness and sports, we also offer non-fitness classes and Special Events suitable for families. Recreation is broadening your mind and awakening new talents in students of all ages. We offer activities for youth of all ages - from 3 years old to Senior Citizens.

Bored with TV? Tired of doing the same thing over and over again? Look over our Program Guide or visit our age specific web pages for the classes and activities that we currently have scheduled. Learn a new art or improve an old one. Our enrichment (non fitness) classes have a wide variety of interests from Art to Computers to Hunter Education. Already know how to do a particular activity? Consider joining a class to meet others who have the same interest.

Your MRC is here "to serve the citizens of USD 263" and others "by providing quality, affordable recreation programs that invite participation, build relationships, and enhance lives".

  3. IF activities are not full, we will accept registrations after the stated deadline.

MRC Reindeer Run - 5 K title

  Rudolph the Running Reindeer!
Here comes …
Dasher and Dancer and Prancer and Vixen,
Comet and Cupid and Donder and Blitzen,
But do you recall
The most “speedy” reindeer of all?
Rudolph the running Reindeer
Has hooves that never stop,
And if you ever saw him,
You would say"He's the top!"
All of the other reindeer
Used to laugh and call him names;
They never let poor Rudolph
Join in any running games.
Then one foggy racin' day,
Santa came to say:
Rudolph with your shoes so tight,
Please guide MRC’s race with light?
Then all the reindeer loved him,
As they shouted out with glee,
Rudolph the running reindeer,
You’ll go down in Mulvane History!
