Come join us for breakfast with Santa and special guest Mrs. Clause. A photographer will be on hand for pictures at a nominal fee. Breakfast will include eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, pancakes, orange juice and coffee.

4th Annual Reindeer Run 5K and 1st Santa’s Little Helpers 1/2 Mile Run!

5K Start Time: 11:00 a.m. Start Location: Mulvane Recreation Commission.
Youth Half Mile: 10:15 a.m. Start Location: Mulvane Recreation Commission.
Registration: Begins Monday, October 28, 2013. Forms will be available for pick up and drop off at the Mulvane Recreation Commission, 632 E. Mulvane Street and
Carson Insurance Group, 122 W. Main Street, located inside Carson Bank.
Forms are available online and can be mailed to 632 E. Mulvane St., Mulvane KS 67110 or faxed to 316-777-0858. Please call in advance when sending registration via fax. Online registration is no longer available.
To get into the holiday spirit we have partnered with Mulvane EMS Toy drive.
Bring a toy at the time of registration and you will receive a $5.00 discount off your registration fee.

The Reindeer Run is a way for the whole family to celebrate the holidays in a fun and healthy way! This event is open to both runners and walkers. It’s a 5K 3.1 miles in length.
New this year we have added a Youth Run ½ mile in length. All participants will receive antlers. Youth participants will receive a “bag” to put toys in for all the boys and girls!
Hot chocolate and “healthy treats” will be provided after the races.

MRC Yoga Day

Experience the health and wellness benefits of Yoga at the MRC. Join us novice, couch potatoes and tri-athletes; young and old and everyone in between. Come together to stretch your mind, body and spirit through the practice of Yoga. Upon attendance you will receive a National Yoga Day shirt a gift bag and raffle ticket for prizes. You must be present to win.
MRC will have Yoga mats available, first come first served. If you have your own mat we encourage you to bring it.
Mulvane Youth Chess Tournament

Chess Tournament organizers will be conducting all registration, not the MRC.

Tournament: 6 Swiss Rounds, 30 minute clock.
This is a Kansas Scholastic Chess Association sanctioned Youth Scholastic Chess Tournament for K-12th grade. A concession stand will be open for breakfast, lunch and snacks in the Community Room of the MRC. Daddy Daughter Date Night
Day/Date: Tuesday, February 25, 2014.
Time: 6:30–8:30 p.m.
Fee: $20.00 per couple, $10.00 each additional girl.
Girls Ages: 0–5th Grade.
Limit: 80 participants, this includes girls and their dates.
Location: Luciano’s Restaurant, Mulvane KS.
Registration: Register at the MRC or send a general Registration form with Princess and Prince information and fee to the MRC, 632 E. Mulvane St., Mulvane KS 67110. Because every daughter is a princess! Girls wear your best princess outfit, costume or favorite dress. Dads this is a night to show the young lady in your life just how important she is by inviting her to a special night out. Luciano’s has graciously opened the doors of their restaurant to make certain fathers and daughters have a night to remember. The evening includes a three course meal, special guest appearance by a real life princess and a complementary photo will be taken to capture the night.
St. Patricks Day "Eat Your Greens" and Zumba Event

NOTE: We have limited space and participants must come to the time they sign up for. There may not be room for switching times on the day of the event.

Fee: Zumba Event: $5.00 per participant, per session. See Note below.
Eat Your Greens Event: $8.00 per participant.
Both: $10.00 per participant, discount will be applied to the meal.

Come celebrate St. Patrick’s Day as a family in a fun healthy way. We will offer two Sessions of Zumba, a healthy meal of all “greens” and bounce house for youth entertainment. Participants must have a General Registration form on file for one or both events and fee paid to the MRC by Sunday, February 16, 2014. Each participant must have a Fitness Waiver updated and signed on file to participate in the Zumba Event. Participants present the day of will receive a t-shirt and be entered in a grand prize drawing.
