Rock It Robot (ages 7–12): Build and take home your own Rockit Robot. It works by the clap of your hands or the sound of your voice. You’ll see the many gears, circuit board, and microphone. Design and build other robots, and together you can do interesting tricks.
Make It and Take It Home (ages 6–11): Science projects you take home that teach and are fun. Discover how amazing science is. Make a wide assortment of toys designed to teach you science concepts in a hands on way. Grow a crystal tree, make an energy bead bracelet, and a Lava Lamp – the worlds smallest motor. Make a cool sharpie shirt, your own bubble blobs, glowing goo, and ice cream the Sciensational way. Many more projects will be made.
Can You Dig It (ages 6–11): Simulated fossil excavations – make fossil plaster replicas – Check out our collection of minerals and try to hold the gigantic pumice rock. Can you put together Triceratops or Tyrannosaurus Rex once we excavate it?
Advanced Robotics (ages 7–12): Build and take home the Jungle Robot, an advanced level Robot. Put your imagination and skills to the test. Work in small groups to build different robotic creatures. Test them for speed, strength, and endurance in sumo battles, tugs of war, distance and obstacle courses. Step up your level of learning and creativity to produce the best “free building” robots among our many workshops.
