The Mulvane Recreation Commission sponsors several sports league seasons and various classes for different ages of youth throughout the year. We also host several special events for youth and their families.
A major program that we have conducted since our beginning, is the Summer Rec program. For information on past programs and plans for the future, see our Summer Rec page.
Use these quick links to find the classes or activities you are interested in:
All new classes require pre-registration and payment prior to starting the first class, or by the stated deadline.
Classes have size limits and only pre-paid registrants will be allowed to participate.
IF classes are not full, we will accept registrations after the stated deadline.
IF classes do not meet minimums set by the MRC, the class will be cancelled.
Effective Immediately: Out of District class participants will be required to pay an extra $5 fee because they are not part of the tax-based support for MRC. We are sorry for the inconvenience this may cause. Class fees will no longer be pro-rated.
Class Participant Rules:
Youth need not be a member to attend a class.
Class fees are separate from membership fees and are based on frequency, length and cost of providing the class.
Youth class participants may not bring younger brothers or sisters to the MRC during their class unless the younger siblings are paid participants. Parents are responsible for their children under 12 years old in the MRC.
SPECIAL EVENTS
Special Events are now listed on the Programs page because several events include adults as well as youth. Slide shows of previous special events have also been moved to the same page. This change has been made to better serve our patrons by grouping all events to one area.
