Public Records Notice
MRC is a recreation commission organized under Kansas statute and is a public agency for purposes of the Kansas Open Records Act (KORA), K.S.A. 45-215 et seq. Under KORA, records held by a public agency are presumed open to public inspection unless a specific exemption applies (K.S.A. 45-221). This means that, in some circumstances, records MRC holds, including certain program or registration records, could be subject to disclosure in response to a public records request, even though MRC does not otherwise share your information with third parties. Children's Privacy
Our website and text messaging program are intended for parents, guardians, and adults registering for or managing programs on behalf of themselves or their family members.
