Program Overview
Mulvane Recreation Commission (“MRC,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) offers a text messaging program to help you stay informed about programs, registrations, and facility operations. By providing your mobile phone number when you register for a program, membership, rental, or other MRC service, or by opting in, you agree to receive recurring automated text messages from MRC, which may include:

Registration confirmations, reminders, and account notifications

Schedule changes, weather-related closures, and program cancellations

Promotional updates about new programs, events, and registration openings
Message frequency varies depending on the programs you are registered for and the time of year. We may change the volume of messages sent and the phone number, short code, or sender ID used to send messages.
Cost and Carrier Information
Message and data rates may apply. Contact your wireless carrier with questions about your text or data plan. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Agreeing to receive text messages from MRC is not a condition of registering for any program, membership, or service.
How to Opt Out
Reply STOP to any message at any time to unsubscribe. You will receive confirmation that you have been unsubscribed, and no further messages will be sent unless you opt back in. To resume messages, reply UNSTOP, if supported by your carrier; otherwise, contact us using the information below to be added back to the program. Opting out of text messages does not affect your program registration or your ability to receive information from MRC through other channels, such as email or phone.

Changes to This Program
MRC may change or discontinue this text messaging program or update these Terms at any time and without prior notice. Updates take effect once posted. If you do not agree to a change, you may opt out at any time by replying STOP. Continued participation in the program after a change is posted means you accept the updated Terms.
